MoFo Advises SoftBank Vision Fund II on Investment in Enpal GmbH

Morrison & Foerster advised SoftBank Vision Fund II on its €130 million investment in solar industry start-up Enpal GmbH (“Enpal”), which closes out the Series C financing round into Enpal. Enpal is a Berlin-based company founded in 2017 that builds and rents solar solutions for private households. With this investment, Enpal becomes the first German green-energy unicorn.
