Singapore Managing Partner Shirin Tang and Singapore Corporate Partner Lip Kian Ang have been quoted in an article published by Mergermarket on the outlook for Southeast Asia M&A in 2H 2022.
The article explores recent M&A deals and fundraising trends and how the healthcare, TMT, food security, and green energy sectors offer bright spots as the economic downturn appears to be dampening prospects for the Southeast Asia M&A market in 2H 2022.

Ang also said, “Notwithstanding the turmoil over the last two quarters, the market has still witnessed a meaningful number of start-ups and later-stage tech companies achieving successful exits via trade sales and other companies making acquisitions as part of their expansion strategies.”
