Kate Driscoll Receives the ATF Honor Award
26th Annual ATF Award Ceremony
Kate Driscoll, a member in the firm’s Investigations + White Collar practice group, was presented the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) National Honor Award for her prior work as an Assistant United States Attorney on a significant arson, healthcare fraud, and tax fraud prosecution that impacted hundreds of victims and caused significant damage to the city of Philadelphia. The ATF Honor Award recognizes a select group of non-ATF members who have demonstrated outstanding assistance, perseverance and competence, significantly contributing to ATF’s overall mission.
The awards were presented at the 26th Annual ATF Awards Ceremony on Thursday, August 18, 2022, at ATF National Headquarters in Washington, D.C. United States Attorney General Merrick Garland was the featured speaker for the event, and ATF Director Steven Dettelbach presented the awards.
Kate commended the work of the prosecution team, stating, “It was a privilege to serve as co-counsel in this prosecution alongside our talented counterparts at ATF, HHS-OIG, and IRS, and obtain justice for the victims and the city of Philadelphia.”
