Georgia Official Says County’s Voting Equipment Will Be Replaced

David Cross spoke to the New York Times about the installation of new voting equipment in Coffee County, Georgia, where allies of former President Trump copied software and other data after the 2020 election.
According to David, who represents some of the plaintiffs in the civil litigation, information that was copied includes the software used by all 159 of Georgia’s counties. He added that software and other data were uploaded to the internet by tech firm SullivanStrickler after being copied, creating the potential for manipulation of the system anywhere in the state.
