MoFo Celebrates Veterans Day

On November 11, 2022, Veterans Day, MoFo celebrates the anniversary of the end of World War I by honoring U.S. veterans. MoFo recognizes America’s veterans—and especially our own veteran lawyers and business professionals—for their patriotism and willingness to serve and sacrifice for a common good. This year, the national theme is “honor,” which reflects the military value and tradition of answering the call to duty.

In commemoration of Veterans Day, MoFo’s Vets Affinity Network will host a webinar on November 9, 2022, at 12:00 p.m. PT / 3:00 p.m. ET to spotlight pro bono veterans programs. MoFo partner Mark Whitaker and associate Matt Blum will moderate the conversation with guest speakers from two pro bono veterans programs, The Veterans Consortium and From Swords to Plowshares.

In addition, The Morrison & Foerster Foundation has made a $10,000 donation to each of the pro bono programs mentioned above to help ensure veterans receive the services they deserve, including legal services for them and their families, and assistance for homeless, low-income, and at-risk veterans.
