“Companies that know that children use their products or services or that target their products and services to ‘children’ – the relevant age varies across existing laws, from ‘under 13’ to ‘under 18’ – will need to keep a close eye on developments and consider whether it makes sense to adopt child-specific changes on a nationwide basis,” Julie said.
