Morrison Foerster Recognized by JD Supra Readers’ Choice Awards 2023
JD Supra has recognized Morrison Foerster as part of the platform’s Readers’ Choice Awards. The awards recognize top authors and firms whose articles were read by C-suite executives, in-house counsel, media, and other professionals across the JD Supra platform during 2022.
Of note, the Top Author honor has been given to partner Megan Gerking, for Antitrust & Trade Regulation, and to partner James Koukios, for International Law.
Over the past year, Megan Gerking published timely insights on changes to enforcement policies by U.S. antitrust authorities, including in relation to the DOJ’s policy change to criminally enforce Section 2 of the Sherman Act, antitrust enforcement developments in labor markets, the agencies’ focus on deals involving private equity, and quarterly updates on domestic and international cartel enforcement, monopolization cases and non-compete restrictions.
James Koukios is lead editor of Morrison Foerster’s award-winning monthly Top 10 International Anti-Corruption Developments newsletter (subscribe), which summarizes for busy in-house counsel, compliance professionals, and anti-corruption lawyers important international anti-corruption law and enforcement developments from the past month, with links to primary resources. James also provides insights on major policy developments from the U.S. Department of Justice.
JD Supra editors chose the 28 main topics covered in this year’s Readers’ Choice Awards for their timeliness as well as their proven, ongoing importance. In each category, the publication recognized ten authors and one firm for consistently highest readership and engagement within that category for all of 2022. In total, across all categories, JD Supra recognized the excellence and achievement of the top 0.4% of authors selected from across a group of over 65,000 who publish their excellent work on their platform.
