Jocelyn Greer Named to National Black Lawyers’ 40 Under 40 List
Jocelyn Greer, an associate in Morrison Foerster’s New York office, has been included on National Black Lawyers’ 40 Under 40 list, which recognizes 40 of the most talented black attorneys from each state under the age of 40. Honorees are nominated by leading members of the legal community based on their excellent representation in their respective practice areas.
An associate in MoFo’s Litigation Department, Jocelyn’s practice focuses on c securities and complex commercial cases. Jocelyn handles securities fraud claims, government investigations, and varied other business disputes. She has substantial litigation experience in federal and state courts and with federal agencies.
Jocelyn has played a first-chair role in litigating cases from discovery to trial in the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York. She also recently managed a team that secured summary judgment for an issuer sued in a federal securities fraud class action after the company was the victim of a “short and distort” scheme. In addition, she has authored numerous successful filings, including several motions to dismiss securities and fraud claims, temporary restraining orders to halt the misappropriation of clients’ property, and complaints and arbitration demands alleging fraud, breach of contract, and trademark infringement. She has also represented a client in an SEC accounting fraud investigation that resulted in no charges.
