MoFo also represented Tokyo Gas on its initial acquisition of its 50% stake in the platform in 2019.The transaction was structured as a sale by Tokyo Gas America Ltd. of shares in Heolios EnTG S.A.P.I. de C.V., which is the holding company for the platform, together with other related entities, to affiliates of ENGIE S.A. The transaction closed on February 6, 2024.The MoFo team advising Tokyo Gas was led by Tokyo partner Mike Graffagna and Tokyo associate Ganesh Vaheisvaran.
