Bita Rahebi and Daralyn Durie were featured in Daily Journal for their work with Lead Counsel Summit, a multi-firm initiative meant to help tackle the gender disparity in patent and intellectual property litigation.
Bita said she was “thrilled” when asked to be a part of the Lead Counsel Summit, describing it as a grassroots effort by “‘an amazing slate’ of women attorneys.”
“We have made great strides in terms of diversity over the past two decades of my career, but there is much work to be done on the trial front,” said Bita.
Daralyn is helping facilitate this year’s summit, which will feature panels on what it means to be a first chair, how to navigate firm politics, and how to be a “storyteller” as a lead counsel.
