James Koukios spoke to Anti-Corruption Report about the importance of companies staying the course in anti-corruption compliance despite the Trump administration’s pullback on U.S. FCPA enforcement to mitigate risk of facing investigations and prosecutions led by international enforcers using their own local anti-corruption laws in its place.
James said, "More than 40 countries across the globe have adopted FCPA-like foreign bribery laws. A continuing commitment to anti-corruption compliance can help mitigate the risk of foreign bribery enforcement actions outside the United States."
