Miriam Wugmeister named one of Cybersecurity Docket’s “Incident Response 50” for 2025

Morrison Foerster Partner Miriam Wugmeister has been named to Cybersecurity Docket’s “Incident Response 50” 2025 list, which recognizes the top cyber security lawyers globally. The annual list honors lawyers who advise companies worldwide on the complicated, high-stakes matters associated with data security incidents, ransomware, and other cyber incidents. 

Miriam’s extensive knowledge and understanding of privacy and data security laws and her pragmatic advice in a crisis, is among the best in the world. As the co-chair of MoFo’s preeminent Global Privacy and Data Security group and ranked among the top in the profession by all major directories, Miriam is regularly called upon by some of the world’s largest and most complex multinational organizations to address their most challenging U.S. and international privacy and cyber issues.

Miriam’s counsel is particularly prized for complex global incidents. She has navigated some of the largest and most consequential incidents in history, including assisting Mandiant when it discovered and warned the world about the SolarWinds compromise. Having helped hundreds of clients respond to data security incidents, Miriam collaborates with companies worldwide to develop customized incident response plans, conduct extensive tabletop exercises, educate boards of directors, and respond when incidents occur.
