MoFo Appointed as Legal Counsel to the Special Committee of Emeren Group

Morrison Foerster has been appointed by the Special Committee of the Board of Directors of Emeren Group Ltd ("Emeren") (NYSE:SOL), as its U.S. legal counsel in connection with the evaluation of a going-private proposal and other strategic alternatives.

On April 28, 2025, Emeren, a leading global solar project developer, owner, and operator, announced that the Special Committee of its Board of Directors had retained Morrison Foerster as its U.S. legal counsel. The Special Committee was formed to evaluate a going-private proposal received by Emeren on March 17, 2025, and other strategic alternatives. 

A team from Morrison Foerster led by private equity partner Xiaoxi Lin, will work closely with the Special Committee in its evaluation process.
