Morrison Foerster’s Antitrust Group Recognized in Chambers USA 2025
Morrison Foerster’s Antitrust group received three practice rankings in the latest Chambers USA guide, highlighting its strength in California and D.C., as well as in the Nationwide Antitrust: Cartel category.
Clients were effusive in their praise, sharing with Chambers: "The depth of their practitioners in the antitrust arena, the quality and caliber of their legal analysis, as well as their practical and strategic approach all make them stand out." Others found the group to be "very supportive, knowledgeable and responsive." "The team is very practical in their advice but also very realistic, clear and straightforward."
Feedback on the five lawyers selected by Chambers for individual rankings was also strong:
- Alexander Okuliar, ranked in the D.C. Antitrust category, is described as "a very smart lawyer," "very practically oriented,” with a “good understanding of risk tolerance.” He also “does an excellent job at applying government expertise to a business context.”
- Jeffrey Jaeckel, ranked in D.C., “is extremely knowledgeable and he has tremendous experience," say clients.
- Lisa Phelan, ranked in both the D.C. Antitrust and the Nationwide Antitrust: Cartel categories, is praised for her pragmatic approach: "Lisa speaks very plainly and she gets down to the facts of the matter in a way that is very practical and useful."
- Megan Gerking, ranked as an “Up and Coming” partner in D.C. is, according to clients, "incredibly smart" and "a versatile antitrust lawyer."
