Stephanie Kam and Yi-Jun Kang Recognized as Rising Stars by Asian Legal Business
Stephanie Kam, an of counsel in MoFo’s Singapore office, and Yi-Jun Kang, an associate in MoFo’s Singapore office, have been recognized as Rising Stars by Asian Legal Business (ALB) in its 2025 edition. The list spotlights the next generation of lawyers in Singapore who are doing high-quality work and receiving endorsements from colleagues, superiors, and clients in the ALB review process.
Stephanie focuses on advising private equity and other financial sponsor clients as well as companies with a broad range of complex and high-value M&A transactions. Stephanie has a wide range of experience providing strategic counsel across the full spectrum of M&A transactions, which include public and private acquisitions, disposals, joint ventures, majority and minority equity investments, and co-investments, as well as corporate restructurings. Prior to joining Morrison Foerster in June 2025, Stephanie practiced in Australia and at another leading international law firm in Singapore.
Yi-Jun, who was recognized by ALB as a Rising Star for the second year in a row, focuses on complex, cross-border commercial litigation and arbitration. She has a broad range of experience across a variety of industry sectors, including renewables, intellectual property, construction, technology, shareholder disputes, and private equity. In her complex cross-border commercial arbitration work, she has represented numerous conglomerates and multinational corporations in commercial arbitrations conducted under the arbitration rules of the International Chamber of Commerce, Singapore International Arbitration Centre, Hong Kong International Arbitration Centre, London Court of International Arbitration, and United Nations Commission on International Trade Law, among others.
Stephanie is qualified in England and Wales, as well as New South Wales. Yi-Jun is qualified in Singapore and England and Wales, and she is bilingual in English and Mandarin Chinese.
