Timothy Chen Saulsbury Named a Law360 Rising Star for Intellectual Property

Law360 has named San Francisco partner Timothy Chen Saulsbury a Rising Star for Intellectual Property in 2025. The award recognizes the top legal talent under 40 worldwide. Tim is one of only six Rising Stars selected in the Intellectual Property category, which is one of the most competitive categories in terms of submissions received.

Tim, who co-chairs MoFo’s global Intellectual Property Group, was recognized for his exceptional track record of securing high-stakes victories for leading technology companies, coupled with his commitment to pro bono and fostering inclusion in the legal profession.

In the past 16 months alone, Tim secured three major defense victories in high-stakes patent and trade secret litigation, successfully defeating claims totaling over $1.4 billion for leading companies in the videogame, cybersecurity, and healthcare industries.

Tim maintains an active pro bono docket, too, serving as full scope counsel in a range of cases, including FTCA, First Amendment, wrongful termination, and Section 1983 matters.
