Melissa Harclerode is an associate in Morrison Foerster’s Employment + Labor Group in the Washington, D.C. office.Melissa represents companies in a broad range of employment compliance and counseling matters, with a particular focus on navigating the employment dimensions of various complex corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, spin-offs, and restructurings. She also has in-depth experience negotiating and drafting various employment, separation, and restrictive covenant agreements. Melissa routinely advises employers on mitigating risks for a variety of HR issues, including hiring, terminations, wage-and-hour compliance, leaves of absence, and policy management, among other areas.Melissa has experience with internal investigations of employment claims, including MeToo claims. Niki Hendi is an associate in Morrison Foerster’s Washington, D.C. office and a member of the firm’s Litigation Group.Her practice focuses on employment matters.Prior to joining the firm, Niki was a summer associate in the New York office. She also spent time as a Criminal Division intern at the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York. Niki Hendi

Anthony Ramirez is a partner in the Technology Transactions Group in the New York office of Morrison Foerster.Anthony advises clients on general commercial and transactional matters. He regularly advises companies on the IP aspects of their M&A transactions. His clients include technology, digital media and content for television and music, financial services, and communications companies with diverse intellectual property assets and issues.His practice focuses on the legal aspects of developing, licensing, and commercializing technology and intellectual property, as well as negotiating general commercial contracts, including outsourcing transactions, as well as content and data licenses. He regularly assists clients with legal issues relating to licensing and commercialization of digital media and content, digital content that is distributed over the Internet or streamed, mobile applications and social media, as well as the licensing of recorded music for distribution via digital platforms. Anthony is also experienced with issues relating to open-source software, software development, artificial intelligence and machine learning, cloud-based technology, and protection of proprietary information.Anthony has extensive experience working on matters involving disruptive technologies, such as blockchain. Anthony M. Ramirez

Addison Yang is an associate in the New York office of Morrison Foerster and a member of the firm’s Technology Transactions Group.His practice is focused on transactional matters involving a broad range of intellectual property and technology issues, including in licensing and development agreements, mergers and acquisitions, and general startup matters. Addison works across a variety of industries, including in the areas of artificial intelligence, software and cloud services, software development, semiconductor manufacturing, Fintech, and blockchain applications.During law school, Addison served as a law clerk to the Senate Judiciary Committee, where he supported legislative drafting and committee hearings about artificial intelligence, social media algorithms, and vehicle safety regulation. Addison Yang

Brigid is a food, drug, and medical device lawyer who counsels life sciences companies on a wide range of U.S. Food & Drug Administration pre- and post-market regulatory issues.As the lead of our FDA + Healthcare Regulatory and Compliance Group, Brigid practices across the spectrum of FDA-regulated products, including medical devices, drugs, biologics, cell and gene therapies, food, cosmetics, dietary supplements, tobacco, laboratory-developed tests, in vitro diagnostics, radiation-emitting electronic products, combination products, and products that may not fit neatly into any of these categories. Accordingly, she counsels established and start-up companies in life sciences, healthcare, and consumer products on a wide range of FDA pre- and post-market regulatory issues. Cathie Chen is an FDA associate in the Litigation Department of Morrison Foerster’s Washington, D.C. office.Cathie Chen advises FDA- and USDA-regulated companies, navigating complex regulatory landscapes at the state, federal, and international levels. She provides strategic guidance across the food, beverage, cosmetics, packaging, and food technology sectors, ensuring compliance while supporting business objectives.With experience in both domestic and global regulatory frameworks, Cathie has counseled clients on matters related to food additives, food packaging, food safety, drug and medical device packaging, and sustainability. She has assisted businesses in securing regulatory approvals in the United States, China, Japan, and the European Union. Cedar Hobbs is an associate in MoFo’s Complex Litigation + Advisement Group in the San Diego office. His practice focuses on complex civil litigation and environmental law and regulation.Cedar has broad environmental litigation and regulatory advisement experience involving site remediation, management of hazardous materials, environmental due diligence, and compliance with California and federal laws.His practice also includes consumer product counseling, with particular focus on sustainability, Proposition 65, and environmental-related claims.Cedar is also dedicated to pro bono and regularly advises environmental nonprofits, such as The Nature Conservancy and Save the Waves Coalition.Cedar received his J.D. from the University of Michigan School of Law, where he served as the managing production editor of the Michigan Journal of Environmental and Administrative Law and as the faculty donation chair of student-funded fellowships. While in law school, Cedar interned at the American Civil Liberties Union and the Great Lakes Environmental Law Center.Cedar graduated Phi Beta Kappa from the University of California, Berkeley, where he earned his B.A. with distinction in political science.Cedar is also a contributing writer to The Surfer’s Journal.
