US DOJ’s Closed Criminal Concrete Probe Isn’t End of Antitrust Scrutiny

Lisa Phelan spoke to Mlex about the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) closing its grand jury probe into the concrete and cement additives industry and how the DOJ hasn’t been as active in pursuing global cartel conduct impacting U.S. consumers as it once was.

Lisa noted that international investigations can be more difficult because U.S. enforcers “can’t always get access to all of the documents” they need.
