Carrie H. Cohen spoke to The New York Times regarding two-thirds of the assistant U.S. attorneys for the Southern District of New York being assigned to review the two million documents in the Jeffrey Epstein investigation that the Justice Department must still release.
Carrie said it did not alarm her that a large number of the office’s attorneys were involved in the review — “particularly here, where there’s a concern about victims’ identities and sensitive personal information." She noted that the job of an assistant U.S. attorney “is a privilege to have, and document review is part of the job.”
