Morrison Foerster advised long-term client Boyd Gaming Corporation (NYSE: BYD) on the pending sale of Sam's Town Hotel & Casino in Shreveport, Louisiana, ("Sam's Town Shreveport") to Bally's Corporation (NYSE: BALY). The transaction is expected to close in the third quarter of 2026, subject to the satisfaction of customary closing conditions and the receipt of required regulatory approvals.
Located adjacent to Bally's Shreveport Casino & Hotel in downtown Shreveport, Sam's Town Shreveport features a 29,000-square-foot casino with 750 slot machines and 14 table games, a 514-room hotel, multiple restaurants, a live entertainment venue, and convention and meeting space.
