Morrison Foerster Shortlisted for TrustLaw Award
Morrison Foerster has been shortlisted for a Collaboration Award in the 2026 TrustLaw Awards for its pro bono work with the African Group of Negotiators Experts Support (AGNES) and other law firms on the development of a Model Climate Change Law for Africa.
The nomination recognizes a collaboration led by Berlin partner Dr. Patricia Ernst Trautmann and supported by Shanghai associate Bilin Chen. With contributions from collaborating law firms, the team conducted research on climate framework laws in China and the European Union that supported AGNES’s efforts to strengthen the legislative capacity of African parliaments and advance effective climate action across the continent.
AGNES is a nonprofit organization that provides technical and scientific support to African governments and the Africa Group of Negotiators in international climate change negotiations.
