The Young Lawyers Division of the American Bar Association (ABA) has selected Morrison Foerster partners Caitlin Crujido and Chris McKinnon for its 2026 On the Rise—Top 40 Young Lawyers Award. The national recognition honors young lawyers who demonstrate outstanding professional achievement, innovation, leadership, and service to the legal profession and their communities.
- Caitlin, a partner in Morrison Foerster’s Government Contracts + Public Procurement Group, advises clients on complex government contracts matters, including bid protests, claims, regulatory compliance, and M&A transactions involving government contractors. She has built a distinguished practice representing leading defense contractors, private equity sponsors, and government services companies, while maintaining a strong commitment to mentorship, professional development, and pro bono service that advances civil rights, protects vulnerable populations, and strengthens access to justice.
- Chris, a Corporate partner at Morrison Foerster, advises leading investors and technology companies on venture capital, private equity, and M&A transactions. His recent work includes advising on some of the most significant, record-setting technology investments and AI-related transactions in the market. Chris is an active leader within the ABA Business Law Section as well, currently serving as co-vice chair of the Private Equity and Venture Capital Committee and regularly contributing to legal education, thought leadership, and mentorship initiatives.

Caitlin and Chris will be recognized at the 2026 ABA Annual Meeting on August 1, 2026, in Chicago.
