Office Managing Partner of the Year Finalists: Thomas T.H. Chou, Morrison & Foerster

Thomas Chou was recognized by The Recorder as a finalist for its Office Managing Partner of the Year award. In his interview, he discussed his experience as Morrison Foerster's Los Angeles office managing partner.

On leadership, Thomas said, "My approach is to listen carefully, understand what different practice groups need, and look for common ground. I don’t believe leadership is about driving from the front on every issue. It’s about creating alignment, removing obstacles and making sure people feel connected to each other and to the firm. If you build goodwill and act with the firm’s long-term interests in mind, people respond."
