Morrison Foerster advised the Mozilla Foundation on the creation of Mozilla.org, a new 501(c)(3) non-profit created to steward the long-term success of the Mozilla Project.
Mozilla.org was granted 501(c)(3) status and became fully operational in June 2026, and was created to oversee strategy, allocate resources, make investments and manage the brand across the Mozilla family of organizations. Organizations within the Mozilla Project include the Mozilla Foundation; Mozilla Corporation; MZLA; Mozilla Ventures; Mozilla.ai; and Mozilla Data Collective.
