Todd Blanche takes his turn on the hot seat

Carlos Felipe Uriarte spoke to Roll Call about Todd Blanche's confirmation hearing for his nomination as attorney general. He said the hearing will likely focus on the running of the Department of Justice.

“All nomination hearings are an opportunity to Congress both to vet the nominee and to demonstrate their ability to conduct oversight of the underlying institution and that is especially true when that leader is being elevated within the institution," said Carlos.
