Innovation in People & Skills: “Women in Midlife Initiative” – Our global program combines education, manager resources, workplace accommodations, and coaching to support employees navigating midlife, including perimenopause and menopause.
Innovative Practitioner: “Commercializing the AI Revolution” – Justin Haan, chair of our Technology Transactions Group, advises leading AI developers and adopters on the commercial, intellectual property, and governance questions that come with bringing AI to market.
Innovative Lawyers in Responsible Business: “Legal Framework for Artist-Owned Businesses” – A team led by Susan Mac Cormac, with Stephanie Drumm serving as principal drafter, Lawrence Gallick advising on intellectual property, Brian Radigan advising on tax, and Fredo Silva advising on the initial framework, created the Colorado Artist Company Act, the first statutory business entity in the United States designed specifically for artists. Governor Jared Polis signed the legislation into law in June 2026.
The awards recognize innovative work in both the practice and the business of law, from law firms and in-house legal teams.
