Eric Weiss is a litigation partner who represents companies in complex consumer, commercial, and class action matters. His practice focuses on disputes involving consumer protection, unfair competition, advertising and marketing practices, privacy, enforcement of terms of service, breach of contract, business torts, and government investigations. He advises clients across consumer-facing industries, including online retail, smart home and IoT, gaming, and mobile applications.

Eric has extensive experience counseling companies on mass arbitration, an increasingly common strategy in which plaintiffs’ firms file large volumes of individual arbitration demands to exert settlement pressure. He regularly assists clients with dispute resolution provisions, strategies to manage mass arbitration exposure, and approaches to obtaining enforceable consumer assent to online terms.

Eric represents some of the world’s leading consumer-facing companies in high-stakes litigation, helping clients resolve complex matters through motion practice, arbitration, negotiation, and trial.

Before practicing law, Eric served as a staff sergeant in the U.S. Air Force and Air National Guard, where he held a Top Secret security clearance and deployed overseas in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. He remains actively involved in community service and youth leadership programs.
