EDUCATION

Seattle University, B.A.

University of Washington, J.D.

Mallory Gitt represents companies in complex class action, commercial, and consumer litigation involving consumer protection and unfair competition claims, advertising and marketing practices, pricing and promotions, privacy issues, terms of service, defective products, breach of contract, and business torts.

Mallory is a leading advocate for clients in the area of mass arbitration, an increasingly common tactic deployed by plaintiffs’ firms to leverage many individual arbitration demands to exert settlement pressure. She counsels companies on strategies to mitigate mass arbitration risk, update their dispute resolution procedures, and enforce their online terms.

Clients value Mallory’s clear communication, responsiveness, and compelling written and oral advocacy. At every stage of litigation, she focuses on her clients’ business needs, values, and goals to inform strategy. She identifies opportunities to reduce risk exposure early and resolve disputes where possible, but she also efficiently manages all phases of litigation from discovery to summary judgment to trial.

Mallory is an emerging leader in the legal profession, recognized repeatedly by Best Lawyers, Super Lawyers, and Puget Sound Business Journal.
