Lara Sirimanne is an associate in the London employment practice of Morrison & Foerster. She advises domestic and international clients on the full spectrum of both contentious and non-contentious employment matters across a variety of sectors, including technology, financial services and energy.

Lara has worked with clients ranging from large international corporates and financial institutions to emerging companies, particularly in the technology and media industries. She provides advice on labour law, employee data protection, employee benefits and executive compensation, litigation and internal investigations.

In addition to working with clients on the full spectrum of “day-to-day” employment law issues from recruitment to terminations and advising on the employment aspects of complex cross-border transactions from a UK perspective, Lara has significant experience coordinating and consolidating advice from local counsel across multiple jurisdictions, often acting as a single point of contact for clients in relation to employment contracts, HR policies, and global benefits plans as well as in respect of information and consultation obligations on transactions and compensation changes.

Lara received her B.A. in Jurisprudence from the University of Oxford in 2013, and subsequently completed the Legal Practice Course at the University of Law, Moorgate in 2015. During her training contract, Lara spent six months on secondment in Morrison & Foerster’s Singapore office.
