Practical Tips for Drafting Noncompete Agreements and Related Restrictive Covenants

This program will cover in what circumstances an employer should ask an employee to sign a noncompete or other restrictive covenant, evaluate the legal options available to address employees working in other states, craft appropriate restrictions for different level employees to increase the likelihood of enforcement, despite the generally increasing scrutiny applied by courts, and examine the interplay between geographic breadth and business description, especially in the digital age of remote and hybrid workplaces.
