This session will discuss President Trump’s recent move to designate Mexican drug cartels as Foreign Terrorist Organizations (FTOs), requiring resource reallocation for enhanced counter-narcotic efforts. Panelists will examine the impact of legislative changes on sanctions, AML, due diligence, and managing risks, with a focus on cross-border transactions and increased regulatory scrutiny.
