19th Annual Labor and Employment Law Conference

Andrew Turnbull, partner at Morrison Foerster, will speak at the 19th Annual Labor and Employment Law Conference, taking place November 12–15, 2025, at the Hyatt Regency Denver at Colorado Convention Center. Andrew will be featured alongside Elizabeth Arnold (BRG) and Heidi Wilbur (DaVita Kidney Care) on the panel “Artificial Intelligence and the FLSA.”

This session will examine the growing use of artificial intelligence in the workplace, with a focus on AI-driven payroll, scheduling, timekeeping, and employee monitoring. Panelists will discuss how AI technologies are impacting compliance with the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), including issues related to compensable hours, independent contractor classification, joint employer status, and FLSA exemptions. The panel will also provide best practices for employers using AI to ensure wage and hour compliance.
