Ryne Miller will serve as a speaker for PLI’s Virtual Asset/Cryptocurrency Product Fundamentals program, providing an overview of cryptocurrency and other financial products in the digital space. After completing this session, participants will be able to:
- Gain insight into the regulatory approaches to cryptocurrencies and crypto-assets
- Extrapolate lessons for how the CFTC, Securities and Exchange Commission and state regulators, like the New York Department of Financial Services (NYDFS), have approached digital assets
- Become familiar with decentralized finance
- Better understand distributed ledgers, cryptocurrencies, and tokens
- Anticipate and prepare for trends in virtual assets/cryptocurrency disputes and enforcement
