Serena has been the Chair of the Greater China Private Funds practice since 2021 and served as the Deputy Chair of the firm’s Global Private Funds Group for four years. She represents global and regional fund managers and institutional investors in the formation of private equity, growth capital, venture capital, co-investment, and private credit funds across a wide range of sectors, including consumer, technology/TMT, financial services, and healthcare. Xuanyi Liu is a partner in Morrison Foerster’s Private Funds Group, based in Singapore. He advises private capital sponsors and institutional investors on fund formation, secondaries, and strategic private fund transactions across Asia, involving private equity, venture capital, private credit, real estate, infrastructure and impact strategies.Alongside his fund formation practice, Xuanyi advises clients on transactions at the intersection of funds, liquidity and manager strategy, including continuation funds, structured liquidity solutions, team spinouts, fund manager joint ventures, and stakes transactions.
