Monika Obal is a counsel at Morrison Foerster’s German office in Berlin. Her practice focuses on domestic and cross-border M&A transactions and on general corporate matters.Monika studied law at the Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin. Before joining Morrison Foerster she worked at the Freie Universität Berlin as a research assistant in the area of insurance, international and company law. Her doctoral thesis deals with corporate governance issues of insurance companies.

Christin Dunkel is a senior associate at Morrison Foerster’s German office in Berlin and is a member of the Employment & Labor practice group. She advises national and international companies on all issues and disputes arising under labor law.Christin studied law at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, with a focus on employment law. Prior to joining Morrison & Foerster, she worked as a trainee in the employment and labor team of a major German law firm and gained further experience at a law firm in Johannesburg, South Africa.

Marcia Ellis is a Senior Counsel in our New York office and a Partner in our Hong Kong office. Marcia’s practice focuses on private equity transactions and complex mergers and acquisitions involving companies and other assets located in Asia. Having practiced in Asia for more than a quarter of a century, Marcia is one of the most experienced M&A lawyers active in the Asian market.
