Andrew Turnbull spoke withInc.about the Supreme Court ruling on two affirmative action cases related to college admissions, the effects of which could extend to workplace diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives.
“I think we probably will see an uptick in reverse discrimination claims,” Andrew said, adding that he believes these claims will be driven by the “larger anti-woke movement” in the United States.
He pointed to a law in Florida that – though ultimately blocked last August – restricted workplace anti-bias and diversity training. “I wouldn’t be surprised if we see similar laws like that,” he said.
