Brandon discusses the government’s history of pursuing cases, often focused on the individual’s access to sensitive information as much as their alleged conduct.
He stated, "What you’re seeing is a pattern of elected officials who are being investigated. It’s not just about what did the person do — it’s about what access did this person have."
