Morrison Foerster has advised Mirus Holding GmbH on its acquisition of lohn-ag.de AG, a leading German provider of payroll services and HR outsourcing.
Mirus Holding, headquartered in Berlin, is the parent company of the Mirus Group. Building on the expertise of Mirus Software AG, a leading provider of digital HR and payroll solutions for the Swiss hospitality industry, Mirus Holding aims to expand across the DACH region through targeted investments and acquisitions. Mirus Holding is backed by Alpha VCX Vienna, a group of serial entrepreneurs, and Elvaston Capital Management, also client of Morrison Foerster, who previously advised on Elvaston Capital Management’s investment into Mirus Software.
Founded in 2000 and headquartered in Baden-Baden, lohn-ag.de AG specializes in payroll, HR outsourcing, and digital process consulting, particularly for the hospitality, gastronomy, and healthcare industries.
The acquisition was completed on September 1, 2025.
