Gary Brown Featured in The Lawyer’s “Hot 100” for 2026

Gary Brown, Partner and Co-Head of European M&A at Morrison Foerster, has been recognized in The Lawyer’s “Hot 100” list for 2026. The annual list recognises London-based attorneys who stand out for excellence in the field, alongside having an innovative approach to legal services.

The Lawyer recognized Gary saying “Few in the know would disagree that Gary Brown is one of the leading partners in the UK when it comes to technology-related M&A transactions,” and notes his experience advising SoftBank Group on its $5.375bn purchase of ABB’s robotics business, its $1.05bn funding round for UK-based autonomous vehicle designer Wayve, and its acquisition of UK semiconductor firm Graphcore. It also added that his recent venture into sports transactions was a “more an extra string to the bow rather than a pivot away from technology”, citing his role on the recent sale of a 43 per cent stake in Crystal Palace FC.
