With more than 40 private equity lawyers in Asia, we advise on all types of private equity-related transactions, including buyouts, carve-outs, joint ventures, and minority investments, across high-growth sectors including AI, technology, life sciences, consumer retail, real estate, financial services, and sports and entertainment. Between November 1, 2024, and October 31, 2025, we advised on more than 70 matters with an aggregate value exceeding US$223.4 billion.
The firm’s representative matters include advising: (i) CPE on the formation of Burger King China, a strategic joint venture with Restaurant Brands International (NYSE: QSR/TSX: QSR); (ii) Affinity Equity Partners on its sale of Burger King Japan; (iii) EQT on its US$2.7 billion tender offer to privatize Fujitec; and (iv) Bain Capital on its JPY510 billion (US$3.3 billion) acquisition of Mitsubishi Tanabe Pharma Corporation.
