Marjorie Soto Garcia was quoted in Law360 Employment Authority about the U.S. Department of Labor's (DOL) recently announced plan to amend regulations around the ability of 14- and 15-year-olds to work. The DOL is considering a rule titled Hours of Work Standards for Young Workers Under the Fair Labor Standards Act.
Marjorie noted, ""I would expect that the rule will feature some updates aimed at modernizing the language in the rule to align with what youth are actually doing in the workplace today."
