Morrison Foerster Named Law360 California Regional Powerhouse for Third Year Running

Morrison Foerster has been named a Law360 California Regional Powerhouse for the third year in a row. Six other firms received the distinction in 2026, reflecting MoFo’s continued leadership among California’s technology, life sciences, and financial services companies.

Over the past year, MoFo advised SoftBank as co-lead investor in OpenAI’s $122 billion financing round—the largest private capital raise in history—and secured a $1.5 billion settlement for Anthropic in a landmark AI copyright case. The firm also won a jury trial for Epic Games in a closely watched dispute over virtual concert technology and successfully defeated post-trial efforts to overturn the verdict.

Following the Los Angeles wildfires, MoFo represented tenants in litigation seeking better inspection and remediation of smoke- and debris-damaged homes, helping displaced residents return to safe housing.
