Morrison Foerster advised Washington Harbour Partners, a mission-first defense tech accelerator and force multiplier for U.S. and allied defense companies, and its portfolio company Computomic, the leading global Databricks delivery partner, on their acquisition of Data Surge, an enterprise data and AI/ML services company. The combination unites two Databricks specialists focused on regulated markets and enables the companies to offer commercial and government customers deeper expertise, a broader set of accelerators, and the ability to deliver at scale.
The MoFo team advising Washington Harbour and Computomic was led by corporate partner Tyler Sewell and corporate associate Dylan Moore and government contracts partner Damien Specht. The broader team included technology transactions partner Lawrence Gallick, tax partner Dave Sturgeon, data, cyber + privacy partner Julie O’Neill and executive compensation + benefits partner Joshua Lerner.
