Ann Lilienthal is a partner of Morrison Foerster in the Agency Finance and Finance Groups, based in Washington, D.C. Ann focuses on international financing transactions and represents lenders (including development finance institutions, export credit agencies, multilateral institutions, and commercial banks) in connection with the development and financing of projects in a variety of sectors, including energy and infrastructure.Ann’s practice focuses on complex international and cross-border project financing transactions in emerging markets worldwide, with a particular focus on Latin America, Central and South Asia, Africa, and the Middle East.Her experience includes advising development finance institutions, multilateral agencies, regional development banks, and export credit agencies in their funding of essential infrastructure projects in developing countries.Her practice spans multiple sectors, including:<ul><li>Energy, including solar, wind, and other types of renewable energy</li><li>Financial services</li><li>Housing</li><li>Education</li><li>Hospitality</li><li>Manufacturing</li><li>Microfinance</li><li>Mining</li><li>Petrochemicals</li><li>Telecommunications</li><li>Transportation</li></ul>Ann earned her J.D. degree from the University of Pennsylvania, where she served as a Legal Writing Instructor and also Associate Editor for the Journal of International Law.
