Dan Alam is an associate based in the London office of Morrison & Foerster and is a member of the Data Privacy and Employment Groups.

Dan advises clients on contentious, advisory and transaction related employment and data privacy matters. He has experience advising on the employment and data privacy aspects of cross-border M&A transactions and he also helps global businesses to comply with their various employment and data privacy obligations. 

Dan studied Law at the London School of Economics and subsequently completed the Legal Practice Course and a Masters in Law, Business and Management at the University of Law, Moorgate.

During his training contract with Morrison & Foerster, Dan gained experience in the following practice areas: Technology Transactions, Data Privacy, Commercial Litigation, Investigations + White Collar Criminal Defense, M&A, Private Equity Real Estate, Employment and Tax. Before joining Morrison & Foerster, Dan spent two months working at the Irish Data Protection Commission. 

At Morrison & Foerster, Dan actively contributes to the firm’s pro bono initiatives by working for a variety of charities and NGOs. In addition to assisting organisations on employment and data privacy matters, he has also advised on social security and statelessness issues.

Dan is qualified as a solicitor in England and Wales.
