Forrest McClellen is an associate in the firm’s Intellectual Property Litigation practice, based in the San Francisco office. Forrest’s practice focuses on patent litigation. He has litigated patent cases before the PTAB, district courts, and the Federal Circuit. He has experience with a wide range of technologies, including pharmaceuticals, electronics, oil and gas, and consumer goods.

In addition to his patent litigation work, Forrest has handled domestic and international trademark enforcement, class action defense, and prisoner civil rights matters. Forrest also brings several years of research experience relating to methods for generating DNA aptamers.

Forrest holds a J.D. from Harvard Law School and a B.S. in Biochemistry with high honors from the University of California, Santa Barbara. During law school, he was a member of Berkeley Law’s Board of Advocates and remains active in the program as a mock trial team coach and competition judge.
