Joshua Pierce is an associate in the Real Estate Group. His practice involves all areas of real estate law, with a particular focus on real estate finance.

Mr. Pierce has represented banks and other institutional lenders, as well as borrowers (including private equity sponsors and their portfolio companies), in a wide variety of secured and unsecured financing transactions, including syndicated loans, cash flow and asset-backed lending transactions, real estate loans, structured trade and commodity finance transactions, project and infrastructure finance transactions, equipment leases, high-yield bond offerings, commercial paper programs, and standby and trade letters of credit.  

Prior to joining Morrison & Foerster, Mr. Pierce worked in the finance group of a law firm in New York, as well as at the U.S. Department of State in the Office of the Legal Adviser.

Mr. Pierce received his J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center in 2009, where he was the notes and articles editor of the Georgetown Journal of International Law. Mr. Pierce is admitted to the bar in New York and Massachusetts.
