Justin Haan is a senior associate in the firm’s Technology Transactions Group in the San Francisco office.

Mr. Haan advises clients on a range of intellectual property issues in big data, technology and media sectors. His practice is focused on negotiating commercial agreements, including software licenses, master services agreements, reseller arrangements, hardware sales agreements and SaaS agreements.  Mr. Haan also drafts patent, trademark, and technology license agreements on behalf of licensors and licensees in a wide range of industries. Mr. Haan also advises on the IP aspects of M&A transactions.

Before joining the firm, Mr. Haan was an intellectual property associate in the New York office of another global law firm.

Mr. Haan received his J.D., with a certificate in law and technology, from the University of California, Berkeley School of Law, where he won the Prosser Prize in intellectual property in the entertainment industries and was an articles editor for the Berkeley Technology Law Journal. He received his A.B. from Harvard University.
