Marc is an associate in the New York office of Morrison & Foerster and a member of the firm’s Corporate Department.
Marc advises emerging companies and venture capital investors, companies involved in domestic and cross-border mergers and acquisitions, fund sponsors on the formation and maintenance of private investment funds, and institutional investors related to their investments in private investment funds.
Marc works with emerging companies across all sectors. His extensive experience includes initial formations and financings, late-stage financings, secondary transactions and investments, public offerings, strategic alliances and joint ventures, licensing deals, commercial contracts, and corporate governance. He works with high‑growth companies, private investment funds, and institutional investors on corporate and transactional matters from formations and financings to exits.
Prior to joining the firm, Marc was an associate at another major law firm where he focused on the formation and maintenance of private investment funds, as well as the representation of institutional investors related to their investments in private investment funds. Marc has extensive experience representing private fund sponsors and institutional investors. He has counseled emerging and established sponsors located both in the United States and internationally on the formation of private investment funds, co-investment funds and managed accounts, investments in portfolio companies, and firm ownership and operational matters. Additionally, Marc has extensive experience in a wide variety of strategies such as venture and growth capital, buyouts, private credit, infrastructures, secondaries, and special situations.
