Nick Dyess is an associate in the Litigation Department in Morrison & Foerster’s San Francisco office.

Nick received his J.D. from the UCLA School of Law, where he was a Michael T. Masin Scholar and received the Masin Family Academic Excellence Gold Award for Criminal Law. While in law school, Nick was a research assistant who helped create a database of all pro se SCOTUS cases filed by prisoners, as well as a database of successful COVID-19 relief petitions brought by prisoners. He also competed on UCLA’s top-ranked Mock Trial team. 

Prior to joining Morrison & Foerster, Nick clerked for the Los Angeles Dependency Lawyers, a non-profit organization that represents parents in juvenile dependency proceedings in Los Angeles County.

Nick received his B.S. in business administration from Northeastern University.
